Bay Towage & Salvage Co. Ltd. is an independent company with 40 years’ experience providing workboat support vessels to the marine construction and dredging industries.

We are based at Barrow-in-Furness docks on the English west coast. We have workshop and office facilities for our tugs/workboat craft and smaller workboats and operate both around the UK and Ireland.

Our licensed Boatmen and Ropers also carry out towage and miscellaneous duties within the Port of Barrow – from sewage to submarines!

Bay Towage has a well maintained & diversified fleet which we continue to improve and refit. Our vessels are MCA coded for UK & Ireland operations and are insured with Everard Insurance Brokers Ltd and work in accordance with MCA recommendations and relevant European standards.
